Product Information Spots & Velvets Fresh

  • Effectively treats so-called " white spot " and " velvet " diseases
  • Care for:
    -Oodinium
    - Ichthyophirius
    - secondary bacterial infections caused indirectly by these protists
  • BioDigest Start is composed of live bacterial strains allowing biological filtration and therefore water purification

Spots & Velvets FRESH is a medicine intended for ornamental fish, it must not be used for fish intended for consumption.

When to use Spots & Velvets Fresh?

Care of your fish, symptoms:

  • White dots, grainy lesions or pale gray fluffy layers . The whiteheads appear on the gills , fins and can extend to the whole body
  • Your fish's fins closing and retracting
  • Rubbing the fish against the decor (to get rid of parasites)
  • Increased fish respiration
  • Weight loss of fish despite a normal diet

How to use Spots & Velvets Fresh?

Invertebrates such as snails and shrimp do not tolerate Spots & Velvets Fresh and should be removed from the aquarium before starting treatment.

NB: for treatments greater than 180 litres, the dosages must be multiplied.
Thus for a 250 liter aquarium, it is necessary to have two boxes of Spots & Velvets Fresh, and to double the dosages of an aquarium from 101 to 180 liters.
